The Regional Director for the British Council's Wider Europe region Joanna Burke together with the Country Director Denise Waddingham and Deputy Director Jamilya Gulyamova of the British Council in Uzbekistan visited WIUT on the 18th October 2022 to meet with the University representatives and learn about WIUT’s success story as a major transnational Higher Education Institution outside the UK. The British Council has always been a key stakeholder in supporting WIUT over the past twenty years.
